Are you enrolled in Community Engagement Project for Session 1 of 2020? Work with the University's Partnerships team to investigate the challenges that key partner organisations (and the wider community) are facing, as we all adapt to a more 'remote' way of living and working due to COVID-19. This project is specifically for students enrolled in COM30001.

Do you want to make a difference in your community? Orange Sky Australia is on a mission to help positively connect the 116,000 Australians who are experiencing homelessness. Volunteer for 2 hours each fortnight to provide a service to the community experiencing homelessness. We have a mobile laundry and shower van that provides a place for positive connection to those who are in need. This opportunity suits student volunteers or students enrolled in SOY10105 and COM30001.

By planting koala food and support trees on multiple landholder properties throughout the Northern Rivers (Lismore, Murwillumbah, Nimbin, Byron Bay regions), you can help to establishing vital links between existing Koala habitats in the region. Springbrook Residents Survey - support our small and vibrant community

Springbrook Mountain Community Association

Make an impact in the Springbrook community! Springbrook is a vibrant small community in the Hinterland of the Gold Coast, full of passionate people. We are a semi isolated community without the ability to draw from a wide range of skills and resources like other suburbs can. We are hoping to survey the opinions, attitudes and feelings of the residents and landholders of Springbrook regarding infrastructure decisions and potentially divisive and contested future proposals. This would be suitable for students interested in volunteering opportunities or looking to undertake a research project in Session 3.
