Provide creative support for Volunteering Services Australia and Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services in both print and digital creative in form of corporate collateral, brochures, flyers and digital assets (animated a bonus) for social media, website and e-newsletters.
By fulfilling this Graphic Design volunteer position you will be able to grow your portfolio, increase your networks on the Gold Coast and beyond, gain crucial work experience in a highly respected, successful organisation, open opportunities for employment through many contacts established along your journey.
This position is for somebody who is a confident, knowledgeable Graphic Design student looking for experience in a corporate environment. There is a wide variety of work required both for print and online. Design and produce high quality and customer engaging communications, marketing and event collateral. Samples of work required whether it is a project or work related. We would love to see you use your creative flair and explore new opportunities in design that will elevate the current organisations brand recognition with in the community.
Skills required of project members:
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat)
• Good communicator and creative thinker
• Confidence to contribute creative ideas
• Ability to work self-sufficiently if required
• Well organised, with high attention to detail
• Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or related discipline, and/or equivalent
By offering between 7.5 to 15 hours per week up to 12 weeks, you will gain confidence and experience in a corporate environment. You can extend your network, evolve as a Graphic Designer, and gain much needed practical knowledge that you may have not been exposed to.
