Maximise the reach and effectiveness of social media and mainstream media campaigns.
Clear direction on how to successfully market our services and improve our income through a clear marketing plan and appealing sponsorship prospectus.

Needs to be addressed

We are finding that there is a poor understanding of the role of Landcare in our shire. There also is a need to address ongoing reductions in funding from State and Federal government. The need for a marketing and communications plan, and sponsorship prospectus are identified in our newly developed business plan. The project address lack of staff and volunteer time to do this.

Benefits to students

They would gain the opportunity to assist a local environmental organisation leverage a nationally recognised brand. The students would be supported by our co-ordinator to gain an understanding of how work collaboratively with community based management committee. They would benefit from knowing that they are supporting effective measures to address climate change.
