A temporary employment agency for SCU Students, run by SCU Students, is being established by Campus Services. The project requires keen students, preferably from the School of Business, that are entrepreneurial in spirit to help develop and launch.
Time required: 10 hours per week

In order to address youth unemployment, student retention and completion, as well as health and wellness of students, jobs are a must.
Campus Services will direct and manage the establishment, implementation and operation of a Temporary Employment Agency. Using automated applications to match the employee skills with the available jobs, the agency will grow and develop this service across all Campuses of Southern Cross University.
We are seeking a core group of students to establish this from the outset.
Student employment being available within the University and the local community. Increased student retention and completion. A better lifestyle, health and wellness for students during their study.
Participation in the project will enhance to skills, knowledge through the mentoring they will receive.
Youth and student unemployment
They would gain business startup experience, business planning, management skills, operational skills, administration, HR, marketing and sales skills. Participation in the project will enhance to skills, knowledge. Students will receive expert mentoring.
This comes with the full support of Campus Services, a wholly owned commercial business entity of SCU with significant knowledge and experience to make this a very successful enterprise run by students for students.
SCU students (preferably business students) who are highly motivated and self starters.
Students should be clear communicators, energetic and coach-able.
